What exactly do I get for free?

It is free to register and use our page building application to create your property listing with up to 20 images.

These pages can only be accessed by you until you activate them. When you are ready, you will choose a listing plan to purchase for your property.

What are the prices/listing plans?

Prices for our listing plans are as follows, note these are subject to change at any time: (prices are PER listing)

1 month: US$ 29.95
3 months: US$ 49.95 = $ 16.66 a month
6 months: US$ 59.95 = $ 9.99 a month
12 months: US$ 79.95 = $ 6.66 a month

We have a large number of properties, do you offer volume discounts?

Yes!, we have special plans available for real estate agents like you:

25% discount on orders of 5 or more listings
50% discount on orders of 10 or more listings

Make sure you activate all your listings at once so you get the automatic discount. Our sytem will keep track of orders and apply discounts if you activate things separately.

What payment methods are available?

For online payments we accept Visa or MasterCard credit cards.

For special plans (many listings a month) we also accept payment via wire transfer.

I am wary of making credit card payments over the Internet. What security do you have to protect my credit card details if I order in this way?

It is safer to use your credit card on our site than handing it out in the real world.

We use the latest Internet technology for secure/automated transactions. When you send your credit card to our servers it will go directly to your bank for processing and it will never be seen by human eyes.

Do I have to pay in US Dollars, how can I pay in my local currency?

Our prices are in US Dollars, when you pay with your Credit Card your bank will automatically make the conversion from Dollars to your local currency at the current exchange rate.

Once I choose a listing plan, will my credit card be billed automatically at the end of the period?

No, once you use your credit card to purchase a listing plan that is the last we will know of it. When your listing is about to expire we will notify you so that you have the option to renew it by choosing an appropriate listing plan.

Again, we will NOT automatically renew your property listings.

How many words/pictures can my ad have?
You can include as many words as you like!

It is recommended that you include as much information as possible in your listings.

Your listings can include up to 20 full-size JPEG images.

How do I send you my pictures?

Uploading your images is simple, once you have entered the details of your property just follow the instructions to select the image files to add your listing.

The only requirement for the images is that they are saved as JPEG files.

If you have any problems you can email your pictures to us and we will upload them for you.

I do not have digital photographs or a scanner. How do you recommend I add the photographs of my property to the listing?

To upload images they must be in JPEG format.

If you don't have a scanner or a digital camera, we suggest you take your prints to a local copy center or cybercafe.

For faster upload, ask them to scan your images with these specifications:

72 - 75 DPI (For Screen Display)
Image Dimensions no greater than 640x480 pixels
Save them on a floppy disk, burn a cd, or email them to yourself as JPEGs
Once you have your images just click on the "Add image" link to pick them from your computer and upload them.

I've already built my own webpage for my property, I was wondering if it would be possible to simply insert a link to it?

Yes, you can link from your listing on our site directly to your web site.

Some of our clients have done this and it brings good traffic to their sites.

You should include an image and a compelling description so users click to your page.

How will people find my property?

Most people find the properties on our site through search engines, they will enter search terms such as:

bahamas real estate
islands for sale
hotels for sale
villa for sale in spain
alternative hotel accommodation in amsterdam
mansion for sale in australia
mexico beach front property
one bedroom apartment in rio

and thousands more like these.

Buyers will also find you by browsing through our EscapeArtist and EmbassyWorld websites and through links on other websites.

How will I know if my property is being seen?

We offer you an up-to-the-second statistics counter for each of your properties. This counter also counts the number of responses you have received and the number of times users have visited your website if you have one.

Data is also archived so you can track your results month-by-month.

How will buyers contact me?

They will contact you by clicking the "Contact Now" link on your property page. They will submit their comments using a web form, this protects your email from being captured by spammers for mass-mailings.

You will then receive the message in your inbox like a regular email.

What if I am not receiving the response emails?

Our server is sending out the emails, so there are a few things to check:

Do you have any spam filters in place
Did you enter the correct email address
Do you perhaps have an alternate email address you could use for the responses
If you still have problems, please email us at support@escapeartist.net and we'll try to help.

How do I know if the respondent is a scam-artist?

Please always be sure to NEVER send money to someone when you are the seller. Most of these scams ask you to pay for someone to fly to see the property, or to pay for some paperwork, or some other similar ruse.

When you receive one of these questionable emails, please notify us via the Member Contact Form and we'll block that sender from contacting other property listers on the site.

If after 10 days I decide to not continue using your service, how will my money be refunded?

Just send us an email using the Member Contact Form including your property's details and we will refund your money by simply reversing the credit card transaction.
